About Us

Who we are

Sustainable Goals Organization for Afghanistan (SGOA) is a local Afghan non-government organization for the rehabilitation and socioeconomic integration of disabled people and other vulnerable groups through education, livelihood, WASH, health, nutrition, food security and agriculture.

We support and protect holistic outcomes for refugee, internally displaced and other crisis-affected girls and boys, so no one is left behind.

SGOA is registered with the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Public Health; we work with UNDP, UN Women, SFCG, SCI and NRC, delivering humanitarian assistance in remote areas.

SGOA mission - education and community

SGOA provides humanitarian aid and human rights services without discrimination. We align our activities with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and extend our work across Afghanistan in education, WASH, health, livelihood, food security and emergency response.

SGOA vision - children and youth

Vision

A world where all children and vulnerable groups in Afghanistan are in school, learning and protected, so they can grow and reach their full potential.
