Who is SGOA, and What we do in SGOA?
The Sustainable Goals Organization of Afghanistan (SGOA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded with the main goal of providing quality health and social services to communities in hard-to-reach and rural areas of the country. Established on October 21, 2020, SGOA is registered with the Economy Ministry of Afghanistan and focuses on offering humanitarian services to marginalized groups, responding to conflict and natural disasters. SGOA aims to reach the most disadvantaged populations, including internally displaced persons, returnees, poor families, the unemployed, and the uneducated, providing health and legal services.
Our Mission
SGOA is a non-governmental, non-profitable organization which provides Humanitarian Aids and human right services to people without any discrimination on the basis of religion, political ideology, ethnicity, gender, race and language. SGOA aims to align all its activities with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and extend its scope of work in Afghanistan.
Our Vision
SGOA is a local Afghan non-government organization concerned with the rehabilitation and socioeconomic integration of disabled people and other vulnerable groups into the community to break the cycle of poverty through education, Livelihood, WASH, Health, Nutrition, Food Security, Agriculture and other Legal services in the country.
